We do this by managing a diverse portfolio of businesses, which includes recycling in both South Australia and Queensland, retail, and adventure parks and campsites in the Adelaide Hills, Riverland and Eyre Peninsula regions.

Job Description

About the role:

Scouts SA Camps & Adventure Parks, comprising of multi-award winning Woodhouse Adventure Park in the Adelaide Hills, Roonka River Adventure Park in the Riverland and Camp Nyroca on the Eyre Peninsula, is a leader in experience-based group accommodation, school camps and outdoor learning, as well as youth and family activity.

An Activity Facilitator works across the Adelaide Hills and Riverland sites amongst this varied range of offerings, with an equally varied array of duties ranging from Tube Slide and Laser Skirmish operation, through to leading curated birthday parties, school holiday programs, school camps and corporate team building.

Your skill set and availability may be suitable to some or all over the above opportunities, with casual shifts available 7 days a week.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Current First Aid Qualification HLTAID003 Provide First Aid, or a willingness to do so.
  • Successful applicant will be subject to a satisfactory police and working with children check in accordance with the Scouts SA Child Protection Policy.

Desirable:

  • Current and unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • RAN Certificate (Responding to Abuse and Neglect)
  • Previous Outdoor Education or facilitation experience
