Job Description

About the role:

A rare opportunity exists for a Payroll Coordinator to join our People, Culture & Capability team. This role will report to the Head of People, Culture and Capability where you will be working closely with our Head Office team to ensure payroll is processed across our diverse range of business units, servicing our Scout Recycling Centres (both SA and QLD), Retail, Corporate and Camps and Adventure Parks. 

At Scouts SA we provide great work flexibility and are open to a Part Time and/or Full Time arrangement.

In the role, you will:

  • Process end to end payroll
  • Action weekly & fortnightly payroll
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding process alongside the People, Culture and Capability Coordinator
  • Respond to employee queries
  • Provide payroll support to employees & management
  • Create, review & update work procedures
  • Support continuous improvement processes with our ELMO Payroll system
  • Maintain employee payroll records
  • Ensuring award compliance 
  • Perform monthly reporting

 

Desired Skills and Experience

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years payroll experience (working in Not-for-Profit desirable)
  • Previous experience using ELMO (desirable)
  • Ability to problem solve and can find a solution
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and/or autonomously


Essential:

  • National Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
